These terms govern your use of JobPivot (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use JobPivot.
The Service
JobPivot is a tool for organizing your personal job search — tracking jobs, contacts, interviews, follow-ups, and resume versions. It is provided to you free of charge. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
Your account
- You must provide a valid email address and are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You're responsible for the activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use JobPivot.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or upload content you don't have the right to store;
- attempt to access other users' data, probe or breach our security, or disrupt the Service;
- scrape, overload, or abuse the Service or its features (including the URL-import and email features); or
- upload malware or use the Service to harm others.
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you add to JobPivot — your jobs, contacts, notes, resumes, and everything else. You grant us only the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you so the Service can function. We don't claim ownership of it, and we handle it as described in our Privacy Policy.
Imported job data
JobPivot can pre-fill a job from a URL or pasted text you provide. This is a best-effort convenience: extracted details may be incomplete or inaccurate, and you're responsible for reviewing them. We are not affiliated with the employers or job boards you reference.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep JobPivot running smoothly but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any feature) at any time. Where reasonable, we'll give notice of significant changes.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. JobPivot is an organizational tool — it does not guarantee any job-search outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobPivot and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Keep your own copies of anything important — the export tool in Settings makes this easy.
Termination
You may stop using JobPivot and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we're required to act on by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the “last updated” date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
